GOOD THURSDAY EVERYONE

Good morning all. So I can finally see straight enough to write today. Migraines are a pain in the butt. But enough of my whining lets get on to reviewing for you all . Today's book is CAMPUS KILLER(detective Alai Ryan book one) by Andrew Hess

                      BOOK BLURB

Ali Ryan has dreamed of being a hot shot detective that solves high profile cases. Her love for crime novels and police dramas was her inspiration to become a cop, but it was her pushy demeanor and sassy impulsive attitude that earned her the detective promotion she coveted. But is your dream job worth sacrificing the ones you love?
The fall semester for New Paltz has begun complete with a dead body turning up in the dorms. Police claim the case is open and shut, but Detective Ali Ryan doesn’t think so. She throws herself into the case desperately searching for answers as the death toll on campus rises; each made to look like a suicide.
With Ali getting closer to uncovering the truth, the killer wants to make his attacks more personal. His sights are set on Detective Ryan and her sister. Police are forced to place them under their protection, but Ali is determined to hunt down the killer and stop him before he kills again. But how far is Detective Ryan willing to go to protect her sister and take down the sadistic killer?

                        MY REVIEW
There is one thing that I love about having a book blog. All the new authors I have met and all the new books I get to bring you. Well this is one of those authors and books .
It is a mystery book that takes us into the life of Ali Ryan. A hard working detective that will do anything to solve the murder. Even when everyone else thinks it is a suicide. Even when the lives of her sister and her are put into danger . She will figure out who the murderer is.
The main character in the book is a woman and the author writes from her point of view very well. He really brings out Ali's aggressive and assertive sides very well. She is one tenacious woman to the chagrin of her long suffering partner and the lieutenant. The other main character and Ali's nemesis is the serial killer Nick/ Mark and boy Andrew made that boy twisted.   He may be a functioning member of society but with a twisted mind like that, he should be committed into the nearest mental health facility and left there. I loved reading both points of view in this book. Why you ask? Well l will tell you , the author did a great job getting into the minds of both characters. Making us cheer for Ali and feel sorry for Mark.
The author takes us down a twisting road . I mean you watch how the characters grow as the author takes them through the hell that they need to go through. I was reading this book well into the night . The author was dropping breadcrumbs along the way, that as you find them you start to put everything together .  Other then a couple of spelling errors that kind a threw me off . I couldn't put the book down . I finished it in a day. So if you want a mystery that has a strong female lead and a truly twisted serial killer . This is the book for you . So why not give it a chance, I know you wont be disappointed

I give this book a  4.5 novels
